အခန်းကြီး ၁ | Chapter 1 |
| ၁ ငါ ပေါလုက ယေရှုခရစ်တော်အကြောင်း ဟောပြောခဲ့လို့ ထောင်ထဲရောက်နေတယ်။ ငါနဲ့ ညီလေး တိမောသေက ငါတို့နဲ့အတူတူ အလုပ်လုပ်တဲ့ ငါတို့ရဲ့ချစ်ညီအစ်ကို ဖိလေမုန်ကို နှုတ်ဆက်လိုက်ပါတယ်။ | 1 I am Paul, and I am in prison because I preached about Jesus Christ. Together with brother Timothy I am greeting our dear brother Philemon who ministers with us. |
| ၂ ငါတို့ရဲ့ ချစ်ညီမလေးအပ္ပိကိုလည်း နှုတ်ဆက်လိုက်ပါတယ်။ ခရစ်တော်ရဲ့သနားကြင်နာတဲ့စစ်သားလို အစေခံတဲ့ ညီလေးအာခိပ္ပုကို နှုတ်ဆက်လိုက်ပါတယ်။ ဖိလေမုန်ရေ၊ မင်းရဲ့အိမ်မှာ စုဝေးကြတဲ့ ယုံကြည်သူတွေကိုလည်း ငါနှုတ်ခွန်းဆက်လိုက်ပါတယ်။ | 2 I am also sending greetings to our dear sister Apphia and Archippus who serves God as a soldier of Christ. Philemon, I am greeting the church that meets in your home. |
| ၃ ငါတို့ရဲ့ အဖဘုရားသခင်နဲ့ သခင်ယေရှုခရစ်တော်ဆီက ကျေးဇူးတော်နဲ့ ငြိမ်သက်ခြင်း လက်ခံရရှိကြပါစေ။ | 3 Receive grace and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. |
| ၄ ဖိလေမုန်ရေ၊ မင်းကြောင့် ငါ့ရဲ့ဘုရားသခင်ကို ကျေးဇူးတင်တယ်။ ငါ မင်းကို သတိရသလို မင်းအတွက် အမြဲတမ်း ဆုတောင်းပေးပါတယ်။ | 4 Philemon, I thank my God for you. I remember you and always pray for you. |
| ၅ မင်းက သခင်ယေရှုကို ယုံကြည်ပြီးတော့ ဘုရားသခင်ရဲ့သန့်ရှင်းသူတွေအားလုံးကို ချစ်တယ်ဆိုတာ တခြားလူတွေဆီက ငါ ကြားရတယ်။ | 5 I hear from others that you believe in the Lord Jesus and love all the holy people of God. |
| ၆ ငါတို့က ခရစ်တော်ကို ယုံကြည်ကြတယ်။ ဒီယုံကြည်ခြင်းကပဲ ငါတို့ကို စည်းလုံးစေတယ်။ မင်းရဲ့ယုံကြည်ခြင်းအတိုင်း ပြုမူဖို့ ငါဆုတောင်းပါတယ်။ ဒါမှ ယေရှုခရစ်တော်ဟာ ဘယ်သူလဲဆိုတာ မင်းက ကောင်းကောင်းနားလည်လာနိုင်မယ်။ မင်းရဲ့ယုံကြည်ခြင်းကို ကောင်းတဲ့အရာတွေ အများကြီးလုပ်ဆောင်ပြီးတော့ သက်သေပြစေချင်ပါတယ်။ | 6 We believe in Christ, and our faith unites us. I pray that you may act according to your faith. Then you will be able to understand more fully who Jesus Christ is. I also want you to prove your faith with many good deeds. |
| ၇ ညီလေး ဖိလေမုန်ရေ၊ မင်း ငါတို့ကို ဘယ်လောက်ထိ ချစ်တယ်ဆိုတာ ငါတို့သိပါတယ်။ မင်းရဲ့ချစ်ခြင်းမေတ္တာက ငါတို့ကို ဝမ်းသာစေပြီးတော့ ခွန်အားပေးတယ်။ မင်းက ဘုရားသခင်ရဲ့သန့်ရှင်းသူတွေကို ခွန်အားပေးစေခဲ့တယ်။ မင်းကြောင့် ယုံကြည်သူတွေရဲ့နှလုံးသားထဲမှာ ငြိမ်သက်ခြင်းနဲ့ ပြည့်နေတယ်။ | 7 Brother Philemon, we know how much you love us. And it brings us great joy and encouragement. You have strengthened the holy people of God, and the hearts of believers are filled with peace because of you. |
| ၈ ခရစ်တော်ဆီက အခွင့်အာဏာကို သုံးပြီးတော့ မင်း လုပ်ရမဲ့အရာကို ငါ အမိန့်ပေးလို့ရပါတယ်။ | 8 I could use my authority in Christ and command you what you must do. |
| ၉ ဒါပေမဲ့ ငါက မင်းကို အတင်းလုပ်ခိုင်းလို့ မဟုတ်ဘဲနဲ့ မေတ္တာရှေ့ထားပြီး လုပ်စေချင်တယ်။ ငါ ပေါလုက အသက်အရွယ်ကြီးပြီး လေးစားခံရတဲ့သူ တစ်ယောက်ပါ။ ပြီးတော့ ငါ ဒီစာကို ထောင်ထဲကနေ မင်းဆီ ရေးနေတာပါ။ ယေရှုခရစ်တော်အကြောင်း ဟောပြောခဲ့လို့ ငါ ဒီမှာ ရောက်နေခဲ့တာ မင်းသိပါတယ်။ | 9 But I want you to act out of love, not under pressure. I am Paul, an elderly and respected man writing this letter to you from prison. You know that I am here because I preached about Jesus Christ. |
| ၁၀ ငါက သြနေသိမ်ကို ထောင်ထဲမှာ တွေ့ခဲ့ပြီးတော့ သူ့ကို ယေရှုခရစ်တော်အကြောင်း ပြောပြခဲ့လို့ သူဟာ ယေရှုခရစ်တော်ကို ယုံကြည်ကိုးကွယ်နေပြီ။ အခု သူက ငါ့ရဲ့သားတစ်ယောက်လို ဖြစ်လာပြီမို့လို့ သူ့ကိုယ်စား မင်းကို ငါ တောင်းဆိုချင်တယ်။ | 10 I met Onesimus in prison and led him to Christ. Now he has become like a son to me, and I am writing to you on his behalf. |
| ၁၁ အရင်က သူဟာ မင်းအတွက် အသုံးမကျခဲ့တဲ့သူ ဖြစ်တယ်။ ဒါပေမဲ့ အခုတော့ သူက မင်းနဲ့ငါအတွက် အသုံးကျတဲ့သူဖြစ်နိုင်ကောင်းပါတယ်။ | 11 Before you found no value in him. But now he can be useful to both you and me. |
| ၁၂ ဒါကြောင့် သူ့ကို မင်းဆီ ပြန်လွှတ်လိုက်တယ်။ ငါ့ရဲ့ချစ်ခြင်းမေတ္တာတွေကို သြနေသိမ်နဲ့အတူ ပါးလိုက်ပါတယ်။ ငါ့ကို လက်ခံတဲ့အနေနဲ့ သူ့ကို လက်ခံပေးဖို့ မင်းကို ငါ တောင်းဆိုပါတယ်။ | 12 So I am sending him back to you. And along with Onesimus I am sending you a piece of my heart. I ask you to welcome him as you would welcome me. |
| ၁၃ အစကတော့ သြနေသိမ်ကို ငါနဲ့ နေစေချင်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။ ပြီးရင် ခရစ်တော်အကြောင်း သတင်းကောင်း ဟောပြောခဲ့လို့ ထောင်ထဲရောက်တဲ့ ငါ့ကို မင်းအစား သူက အလုပ်အကျွေးပြုမယ်ပေါ့။ | 13 At first, I wanted to keep Onesimus with me. Then instead of you he could serve me in prison where I am because I preached the Good News about Christ. |
| ၁၄ ဒါပေမဲ့ မင်း သဘောမတူဘဲနဲ့ ငါ ဘာမှ မလုပ်ချင်ခဲ့ဘူး။ ဒီကောင်းမှုကို အတင်းတိုက်တွန်းလို့ မဟုတ်ဘဲ မင်းရဲ့ဆန္ဒနဲ့ လုပ်တာကို ငါ လိုချင်တယ်။ | 14 But I did not want to do anything without your agreement. I wanted you to do this good deed not under pressure, but out of your free will. |
| ၁၅ သြနေသိမ်က မင်းဆီကနေ ခဏထွက်ပြေးခဲ့တာဟာ တကယ်တော့ မင်းဆီကို ထာဝရအတွက် ပြန်လာဖို့ ဖြစ်နိုင်ပါတယ်။ | 15 Perhaps Onesimus ran away from you for a while in order to return to you forever. |
| ၁၆ အခုတော့ သူက မင်းအတွက် ကျွန်တစ်ယောက်ထက် သာတဲ့သူ ဖြစ်လာရတော့မယ်။ သူ့ကို ထွက်ပြေးသွားတဲ့ကျွန်လို မဟုတ်ဘဲ ချစ်ရတဲ့ညီလေးတစ်ယောက်လို ပြန်လက်ခံလိုက်ပါ။ သြနေသိမ်ဟာ ငါ့အတွက် တကယ်ကိုအရေးပါတဲ့သူ ဖြစ်တယ်။ အခု သူက သခင်ယေရှုကို ယုံကြည်ပြီ၊ ဒါကြောင့် သူဟာ မင်းအတွက် ကျွန်တစ်ယောက်ထက် ပိုပြီး အဓိပ္ပါယ်ရှိလာတော့မှာပါ။ | 16 But now he should become more than just a slave to you. Receive him back not as a runaway slave, but as a dear brother. Onesimus is especially dear to me. And now he will mean much more to you than just a slave because he has turned to the Lord. |
| ၁၇ ငါ့ကို မင်းရဲ့ မိတ်ဆွေလို့ သဘောထားတယ်ဆိုရင် ငါ့ကို လက်ခံသလိုပဲ သြနေသိမ်ကို လက်ခံပေးပါ။ | 17 And if you consider me your friend, accept Onesimus as you would accept me. |
| ၁၈ သူက မင်းအပေါ် အမှားတစ်ခုခုလုပ်ခဲ့ရင် ဒါမှမဟုတ် သူကြောင့် မင်းရဲ့ငွေတွေဆုံးရှုံးခဲ့ရင် သူ့ရဲ့အကြွးတွေကို ငါ ဆပ်ပေးပါ့မယ်။ | 18 Perhaps he did something wrong to you or caused you losses. In this case, I take responsibility for his debts. |
| ၁၉ “သြနေသိမ်အတွက် ငါ မင်းကိုပြန်ပေးမယ်” ဆိုတာ ငါ ပေါလု ကိုယ်တိုင် လက်နဲ့စာရေး ပါတယ်။ ပြီးတော့ မင်း ငါ့အပေါ် အကြွေးတင်တယ်ဆိုတာ ငါ သတိမပေးတော့ပါဘူး။ | 19 I, Paul, am writing this with my own hand, “I will pay you back for what Onesimus owes”. And I will not remind you that you are in debt to me. |
| ၂၀ ညီလေးရေ၊ မင်း ငါ့ကို အကြွေးတင်နေတာပဲ သခင်ဘုရားရဲ့နာမနဲ့ ငါ့ကိုကူညီပါ။ ခရစ်တော်အားဖြင့် ငါ့ရဲ့နှလုံးသားကို ငြိမ်သက်စေပါ။ | 20 Brother, since you owe me, do me a favor in the name of the Lord. Then I will not worry about Onesimus, and you will bring peace to my heart which belongs to the Lord. |
| ၂၁ မင်းက ငါ့ကို နာခံမယ်ဆိုတာ သေချာသိလို့ ငါ စာရေးလိုက်တာဖြစ်တယ်။ ပြီးတော့ ငါက လုပ်ပေးဖို့ တောင်းဆိုတာထက်တောင်မှ မင်းက ပိုလုပ်ပေးမယ်ဆိုတာ ငါ သိပါတယ်။ | 21 I wrote to you because I am sure that you will listen to me. And I know that you will do even more than what I ask you. |
| ၂၂ ငါ့အတွက် တည်းခိုစရာ အခန်းတစ်ခန်းလည်း ပြင်ထားပေးပါ။ မင်းက ငါ့အတွက် ဆုတောင်းပေးတယ်ဆိုတာ ငါသိတယ်။ ဘုရားသခင်က မင်းရဲ့ဆုတောင်းချက်တွေကို အဖြေပေးမယ်လို့ ငါမျှော်လင့်တယ်။ အဲ့ဒီအခါကျရင် မင်းဆီကို ငါ လာလည်နိုင်မှာပါ။ | 22 Also prepare a room for me where I can stay. I know that you pray for me. I hope that God will answer your prayer, and I will be able to visit you. |
| ၂၃ ဧပဖြလည်း ငါ့လိုပဲ ယေရှုခရစ်တော်အကြောင်းကို ဟောပြောခဲ့လို့ ငါနဲ့အတူတူ ထောင်ထဲမှာ ရောက်နေတယ်။ သူက မင်းကို နှုတ်ဆက်စကား ပါးလိုက်ပါတယ်။ | 23 Epaphras was imprisoned with me because he preached about Jesus Christ as I did. And he is sending you greetings. |
| ၂၄ မာကု၊ အာရိတ္တာခု၊ ဒေမ၊ လုကာ တို့က ငါနဲ့အတူတူ အလုပ်လုပ်ကြတယ်။ သူတို့လည်း မင်းကို နှုတ်ဆက်ကြတယ်။ | 24 Mark, Aristarchus, Demas and Luke are ministering with me, and they also are greeting you. |
| ၂၅ ငါတို့ရဲ့သခင် ယေရှုခရစ်တော်ရဲ့ ကျေးဇူးတော်က မင်းရဲ့စိတ်ဝိညာဉ်နဲ့အတူ ရှိပါစေ။ အာမင် - ပြည့်စုံပါစေ။ | 25 May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ fill your spirit. Amen. |
